There are a few things you need to know about using email to communicate with a lawyer before you send this office an email:

Sending an email does not create an attorney/client relationship

Creating an attorney/client relationship requires an agreement between the attorney and the potential client. If you send an email to Arocho Law Office asking for this office to represent you, it is simply a request and not an agreement. There is no obligation on either you or this office to perform in any manner until you have signed an engagement agreement provided by this office.

Email is less secure and less private than sending a postcard by mail

A postcard may be easily read by anyone who has access to hold it. The postal service does a pretty good job of limiting how many people have an opportunity to view postcards that they handle. Email on the other hand, may be intercepted and read by possibly anyone who has the necessary tools and interest in viewing your email. Once intercepted, an email may be republished to an infinite number of parties via the internet. Fortunately, there are probably relatively few people interested in viewing your email from among the millions of email messages sent every day and it may never become a problem for you. However, it would be prudent to never send confidential information in an email. Don't put it in an email message if you would be embarassed if the email were made public.
